About the role

Mollie Stone’s Markets is looking for an Experienced Assistant Manager to help run our Coffee Kiosk inside our San Francisco–Pac Heights store. This individual must have a passion for coffee, previous management experience, and be great with people.

Responsibilities

• Assist manager in supervising all Coffee employees
• Maintain positive and productive relationships with all team members as well as with the store and other departments
• Provide consistent quality beverages that satisfy our customers
• Assist staff in building their expertise in coffee, teas, and other merchandise so they may accurately answer customer questions and offer personal recommendations
• Demonstrate ownership of the kiosk by ensuring cleanliness, organization, and attractiveness of interior and exterior

Requirements

• Must have previous coffee and supervisor/management experience
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service
• Must demonstrate professionalism and be detail-oriented
• Able to work a flexible shift depending on business needs, which may include some evenings, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to regularly lift at least 25 lbs
• Standing: Up to 8 hours per day
• Seating: Up to 1 hour per day
• Walking: Up to 8 hours per day
• Reaching: Up to 4 hours per day

$20.25–22.25/hour, depending on experience
