Assistant, Stadium Operations (Part-Time)

About the Role

Part-time, as-needed Stadium Operations Assistant position with the Tennessee Titans, working no more than 10-15 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Set up stadium event equipment including moving tables and chairs, assembling staging, dance floors, pipe and drape, etc.
• Participate in the preparation, set up, and completion of conversions.
• Execute event orders and diagrams under the direction of the Stadium Event Operations Coordinator to properly set up event spaces.
• Communicate with the Events Team to match room sets to diagrams.
• Ensure rooms are set by the designated time and change room sets on-site when requested by the client.
• Communicate with internal departments via radio.
• Maintain a positive approach to all tasks and operate with a sense of urgency while prioritizing event needs.
• Complete event safety checklists.
• Assist in keeping all equipment inventory up to date, including tables, chairs, linens, etc.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Stadium Event Operations Coordinator.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Ability to drive a forklift and have proper certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance and set-up/tear-down in an arena, convention center, or hotel environment.
• Demonstrated high level of professionalism.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects with extreme attention to detail simultaneously and within deadlines.
• Ability to work on a crew in challenging or high-pressure situations.
• Ability to establish, develop, and maintain good working relationships with co-workers.
• Outgoing personality, energetic, and proactive approach to work.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

• Work Environment: Stadium/field.
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift, push, and pull at least 75 lbs.

Schedule

Flexibility to work long hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays, including some Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
