Position Title Assistant Softball Coach Job Description Reporting to the Head Women's Softball Coach, the Assistant Women's Softball Coach supports the daily operation of the NCAA Division I softball program. Responsibilities include assisting with practice and game execution, student-athlete development, recruiting, program operations, and administrative duties while promoting a positive team culture. The Assistant Coach is expected to comply with all NCAA, conference, and University rules and regulations. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Assist the Head Coach with the daily operation of the softball program.Assist with practice execution and provide on-field instruction.Ability to consistently throw quality batting practice.Manage video operations, including filming practices and games, operating game-day camera equipment, and organizing film through Synergy Sports.Assist with the recruitment of prospective student-athletes in accordance with NCAA regulations.Coordinate team travelSupervise student managers and assist with game-day operations.Support camps, clinics, fundraising initiatives, alumni engagement, community outreach, and social media efforts.Maintain compliance with all NCAA, conference, and University policies and procedures.Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Women's Softball Coach. Job Requirements: Education, Experience and Skills: Bachelor’s Degree required.Successful collegiate coaching and/or collegiate playing experience desired.Review of candidates will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
