About the Role
This is a part-time, non-benefitted 12-month, non-faculty position with a work schedule of 19 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Assist Head Coach in recruiting efforts and setting up tours of the college.
- Assist Head Coach in practice planning, training, conditioning, and weight training.
- Assist in maintaining and organizing inventory of soccer gear, uniforms, and equipment.
- Work cooperatively with personnel in the athletic department, attend athletic department meetings and activities, and represent ABAC positively and professionally.
- Assist in coordinating facility needs for visiting teams.
- Support the student-athlete concept and demonstrate concern for the health, safety, and welfare of each student-athlete.
- Perform other duties as requested by the Head Soccer Coach.
- Comply with Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, NAIA, and Southern States Conference rules and regulations.
Requirements
- First Aid and CPR Certification required within a month of hire.
- Prior collegiate coaching or playing experience preferred.
Schedule
19 hours per week.
