Assistant Shipping and Receiving Manager

Major Activities

• Aid in managing the day-to-day shipping and receiving operations, ensuring smooth workflow and timely processing.
• Provide guidance, training, and supervision to shipping and receiving staff, ensuring they follow procedures and meet performance standards.
• Cook up and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring products are properly loaded, identified, and free from damage.
• Identify and resolve issues or discrepancies related to shipping and receiving.
• Assist in keeping track of inventory and organizing inventory.
• Work closely internally and externally to ensure smooth and timely deliveries.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 75 lbs. and stand for long periods.

Knowledge & Abilities

• CDL Class A driving license
• Computer skills
• Organizational skills

Experience

• 2+ years' experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse operations.
• Strong knowledge of Shipping and Receiving procedures, logistics, and operations.
• Forklift experience
