Assistant Service Manager - HOLT Truck Centers

About the role

As a Service Manager at HOLT Truck Centers, you will oversee the maintenance and repair of heavy trucks and equipment, ensuring they are in optimal condition to support our customers' needs.

Essential Functions

• Oversee daily service operations to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
• Manage and train a team of technicians to maintain high standards of customer satisfaction and quality workmanship.
• Develop and implement service strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex issues and enhance overall customer service.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar managerial position, preferably within the trucking industry.
• Proven ability to manage and mentor a team of technicians.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and software.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues.

• Experience with fleet management systems.
