Responsibilities
- Manage Field Service (FS) Division
- Cook daily staffing/dispatch with FS technicians (copy executive & sales teams)
- Open WO’s for jobs
- Accurately document customer information, including equipment details, issues, and requested services
- Maintain service progress and follow up with technicians to ensure timely completion of work orders
- Review completed work orders for accuracy, ensuring that all services performed are properly documented, including labor hours, parts used, and any additional charges
- Source parts for jobs as needed
- Ensure technicians have proper tools, equipment & support to get jobs done
- Ensure technicians and parts reach the proper destination for the jobs
- Calculate and prepare detailed service invoices, ensuring accuracy of billing information and adherence to company pricing policies
- Add assets to Manager+
- Review & approve payroll
- Conduct weekly calls with all FS Sites to keep them up to date on WO’s & Invoicing
- Monitor equipment hours for services & maintenance on customer & rental equipment
- Complete end of the month CID reports for all rental equipment
- Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner, understanding their service needs and addressing any concerns or questions
- Maintain accurate and organized service records, both in physical and electronic formats, ensuring easy retrieval and compliance with company policies
- Aid South Region Service Manager with oversight of Memphis Shop
- Manage inventory levels for service parts and supplies, ensuring availability and timely replenishment
- Process customer payments, either in person or through electronic systems, and provide receipts as necessary
Requirements
- At least 1 year of management experience
- Heavy equipment experience preferred
- Reliable and extremely trustworthy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong multitasking skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Advanced computer skills and strong Microsoft and Excel ability
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
