About the role
We’re in search of an Assistant Sales Manager who can motivate our sales team through positive leadership and hands-on training. Our Lamar office in Pittsburgh, PA, is now hiring an Assistant Sales Manager to help us bring outdoor advertising campaigns to life in Pittsburgh, PA, and the surrounding areas. The Assistant Sales Manager is responsible for assisting the Sales Manager in managing the sales department, actively searching, managing, and growing a house book of business consisting of a local, regional, and national customer bases. Other duties include supporting the Sales Manager in administrative duties as well as completion of MOBLI (sales/marketing software) requests, as directed. Responsibilities
- Assist the Sales Manager in managing the sales department
- Actively search, manage, and grow a house book of business consisting of local, regional, and national customer bases
- Support the Sales Manager in administrative duties
- Complete MOBLI (sales/marketing software) requests as directed
- Champion Lamar’s outdoor advertising business (installation, products) to customers and account executives
- Manage and direct national sales for the designated location, comprising the entire sales process from proposal to close, strategizing, coordinating, and executing sales initiatives, monitoring market trends, fostering partnerships, and achieving or surpassing sales targets within the defined geographic area
- Support Sales Manager in maintaining plant sales at acceptable levels through personal sales, idea development, advertising, sales training, goal-setting, and professional proposal management
