About the role

As an Assistant Safety Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and policies. You will also be tasked with conducting regular safety inspections and training employees on safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and policies
  • Conduct regular safety inspections
  • Develop and implement safety training programs
  • Respond to and investigate workplace accidents and incidents
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve overall workplace safety

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a safety management role
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and best practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with safety software and databases
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Pay

The pay range for this position is $50,000 - $70,000 annually.

Schedule

The position is full-time with a standard Monday through Friday workweek.
