Assistant RN Manager CVCU

Responsibilities

• Care for highly complex patients requiring advanced therapies and technology, including mechanical ventilation, Swan-Ganz catheters, vasopressors and inotropic infusions, high-alert medication drips, IABP, Impella devices, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), chest tube management.
• Work under the direction of the nurse manager or other nursing leader to implement the hospital and nursing department's philosophy, goals, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure the effective implementation of the CVICU's care philosophy, goals, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN).
• Two+ years of clinical experience.
• Participation in leadership activities (Unit, hospital, or system Shared Governance meetings, Precepting, Charge nurse role).

Qualifications

• MI Registered Nurse (RN).
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS).
• AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
