Assistant Retail Store Manager

About the role

Take the lead at the center of where it all happens – our retail stores. With your retail knowledge and leadership abilities, you’ll help oversee store operations, manage and develop a team, and ensure AT&T customers experience our best-in-class services, entertainment, and technology. In this role, you’ll partner with a store manager to oversee all aspects involved in the daily operation of a retail store, including merchandising, product launches, and meeting sales objectives to deliver an extraordinary customer experience.

You’ll gain valuable experience coaching a team of retail sales consultants to ensure they meet sales and service goals, supported by best-in-class paid training that sets you up for leadership success.

Responsibilities

• Assist with merchandising and product launches.
• Help meet and exceed sales objectives.
• Ensure customers receive an extraordinary experience with AT&T products and services.
• Coach a team of retail sales consultants to meet sales and service goals.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders on initiatives beyond store walls.
• Utilize professional expertise to solve problems and analyze issues.
• Take initiative, drive results, and champion change.

Requirements

• Three or more years of sales and/or customer experience in telecommunications or a related industry.
• Prior management experience.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Well-developed planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with wireless terminology, industry trends, and AT&T mobility systems.
• Strategic perspective and ability to inspire high performance through collaboration and teamwork.

Pay

Salary range: $53,200.00 - $79,800.00 plus $18,000 commission. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.

Schedule

40 hours per week, full-time.
