Assistant Retail Store Manager
About the role
Take the lead at the center of where it all happens – our retail stores. With your retail knowledge and leadership abilities, you’ll help oversee store operations, manage and develop a team, and ensure AT&T customers experience our best-in-class services, entertainment, and technology. In this role, you’ll partner with a store manager to oversee all aspects of daily store operations, from assisting with merchandising and product launches to helping meet and exceed sales objectives. You’ll ensure customers receive an extraordinary experience with our products and services and perform additional outreach and promotional activities, including off-site events as needed.

Responsibilities
- Oversee daily retail store operations in partnership with the store manager.
- Assist with merchandising, product launches, and sales initiatives.
- Ensure customers receive exceptional service and support.
- Coach and develop a team of retail sales consultants to meet sales and service goals.
- Perform outreach and promotional activities, including off-site events.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders on initiatives beyond store walls.
- Utilize strategic perspective to champion change and drive results.
- Inspire and lead your team through high performance, collaboration, and teamwork.
- Apply professional expertise to solve problems and analyze issues.

Requirements
- Three or more years of sales and/or customer experience in telecommunications or a related industry.
- Prior management experience.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Well-developed planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with wireless terminology, industry trends, and AT&T mobility systems.
- Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders on initiatives beyond store operations.
Pay
Assistant Store Managers earn an annual salary of $47,500 - $71,300, plus up to $18,000 in commissions yearly if all sales goals are met. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
