Assistant Retail Store manager
About the role
Take the lead at the center of where it all happens – our retail stores. With your retail knowledge and leadership abilities, you’ll help oversee store operations, manage and develop a team, and ensure AT&T customers experience our best-in-class services, entertainment, and technology. In this role, you’ll partner with a store manager to oversee all aspects involved in the daily operation of a retail store, including assisting with merchandising, product launches, and meeting sales objectives to provide customers with an extraordinary experience. You’ll also perform additional outreach and promotional activities, including off-site events as needed.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily retail store operations in partnership with the store manager.
- Assist with merchandising, product launches, and sales initiatives.
- Ensure customers receive exceptional service and experience with AT&T products.
- Coach and develop a team of retail sales consultants to meet sales and service goals.
- Participate in outreach and promotional activities, including off-site events.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders on initiatives beyond store walls.
- Utilize problem-solving skills to address operational and customer issues.
- Champion change and inspire high performance through teamwork and collaboration.
Requirements
- Three or more years of sales and/or customer experience in telecommunications or a related industry.
- Prior management experience.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong planning, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with wireless terminology, industry trends, and AT&T mobility systems.
- Strategic perspective and ability to drive results.
- Initiative to create and implement solutions.
Pay
Salary range: $47,500.00 - $71,300.00 plus commission (up to $18,000). Individual starting salary may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
