About the role

Swansea Wood School is a residential treatment setting for adolescents that specializes in trauma‑informed care, providing 24‑hour comprehensive care including an on‑site school, full clinical staff, nursing staff, and direct care staff. Responsibilities

  • Assist in oversight of the Residential Department with the Residential Director and provide care and treatment of students.
  • Ensure all Residential systems are followed and completed daily; provide on‑call coverage.
  • Provide constant oversight of scheduling procedures, maintain staffing ratios, and make accountability and disciplinary action decisions as needed for Residential Staff.
  • Lead residential meetings and trainings, and run residential shifts when needed.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Experience in a residential or mental health setting is required.
  • Experience at the supervisory or management level in a residential setting is required.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license (transporting clients is required).
  • Available to work evenings, holidays, and weekend shifts as required.
  • Background and driving record checks will be performed.
  • Training provided in physical interventions and verbal de‑escalation techniques to ensure a safe therapeutic atmosphere.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $55,000 to $65,000 per year. Overtime may be mandated due to the nature of the work.
