General Summary
The Facilities Assistant Director supports the overall management and daily operations of the Artis—Naples campus, ensuring maintenance activities, safety practices, and facility services run smoothly and efficiently. This role manages a team of facilities staff and oversees the maintenance of the campus buildings and grounds.
Responsibilities
- Oversee routine and emergency maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning of all campus facilities.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.
- Manage a team of facilities staff, providing guidance and support.
- Coordinate with other departments to address facility-related issues.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve facility efficiency and sustainability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (architecture, engineering, or a similar discipline).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management or a related field.
- Proven ability to manage a team and lead projects.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and facility maintenance procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
