About the role
We are seeking an Assistant Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team. This position plays a key role in supporting full-cycle recruitment for valet, hospitality, and operational positions. You will work closely with Operations leaders to identify staffing needs, source qualified candidates, coordinate interviews, and facilitate a seamless onboarding experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and screen resumes and applications for valet, hospitality, and operational positions.
- Conduct initial phone screens and in-person interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications.
- Perform reference checks and assist with candidate assessments.
- Create, post, and manage job advertisements across multiple recruiting platforms.
- Sources and engages qualified candidates through online job boards, referrals, and recruiting tools.
- Maintain an active pipeline of candidates to support ongoing hiring needs.
- Partners with Operations Managers to understand workforce needs and staffing priorities.
- Manage and track requisition requests to ensure timely hiring support.
- Review job descriptions, qualifications, and hiring expectations with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to coordinate interviews and provide updates.
- Deliver a positive and professional candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding.
- Develop and utilize structured interview guides and screening questions.
- Prepare offer letters and communicate employment details to selected candidates.
- Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation sessions.
- Review onboarding documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure all required employment paperwork is submitted to Human Resources within established timelines.
- Partner with hiring managers to support successful employee integration and retention.
- Maintain accurate recruiting records and candidate documentation.
- Ensure hiring and onboarding practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Support reporting and recruiting metrics as needed.
- Uphold confidentiality when handling sensitive employee and candidate information.
Qualifications
- Diploma of secondary education or GED required.
- Minimum of 2 years of recruiting, staffing, or talent acquisition experience.
- Experience recruiting for hospitality, operations, customer service, supply chain, or similar environments.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
