Assistant QC Scientist

About the role

The QC Analyst supports Quality Control bioanalytical testing for release of clinical and commercial products. Responsibilities include interfacing with multiple groups, performing tasks independently, interpreting results, troubleshooting, assisting with training, and participating in assay transfer.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing of in-process, final product, and stability samples.
• Utilize scientific principles to assist in analytical testing methods and the proper use of laboratory equipment.
• Anticipate and troubleshoot problems.
• Recommend corrective actions and participate in the development of best practices.
• Understand and apply regulatory guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with peers and management.
• Document training and procedures.
• Draft and review technical documents.
• Communicate progress and issues to management.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with various bioanalytical techniques.
• Experience in assay transfer and validation.
• Technical writing and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to represent the group on cross-functional teams.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage timelines.
• Ability to work with management locally and globally.
• Effective communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science preferred.
• 1+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in a regulated environment.
