Assistant Purchaser

About the role

The Mission As an Assistant Purchaser, you’ll help power Evergreen Market’s product engine—keeping shelves dialed in with the right mix, at the right time, for a standout customer experience. This mid-level, onsite role is a rare leap from store-floor expertise into the purchasing lane.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage purchase orders for assigned vendors
• Track deliveries and resolve vendor issues
• Review sales to forecast demand
• Coincide inventory needs for promotions/holidays with Marketing and Inventory
• Support compliance-driven process changes
• Partner on adjustments (shrink, returns, destruction)
• Spot aged-inventory patterns

Requirements

• 3+ years retail experience (cannabis strongly preferred)
• Inventory management and data-driven decision-making
• Excel/Word fundamentals; strong organization and follow-through
• Clear communication with stores, stakeholders, and vendors
• Must be 21+; able to use a computer for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Pay

Salary: $24.50 - $26.50 per hour
