About the role
This position is part of Buckingham's property management team, which is dedicated to fostering a culture of adaptability and resilience. The Assistant Property Manager will work closely with the Property Manager to manage a multi-family apartment community, ensuring satisfactory cash flow, positive resident relations, and optimal resident retention.
Responsibilities
- Aid in the management of the apartment community, including maintenance and repairs
- Manage resident relations and address complaints
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and community policies
- Collaborate with other departments within Buckingham to ensure seamless operations
- Assist in financial reporting and budgeting
- Oversee tenant move-ins and move-outs
- Develop and implement strategies to improve resident satisfaction and retention
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of property management experience
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
