Assistant Property Manager

Responsibilities

• Aid in accepting move out notices, service requests, and resident transfers.
• Implement lease renewal and resident retention programs.
• Manage resident relations by handling phone calls, requests, and concerns.
• Analyze weekly leasing reports and project occupancy trends.
• Develop and track marketing strategies, including advertising, promotions, and publications.
• Handle rent collection, send late notices, and post rent.
• Inspect vacancies, prepare ready apartments, and manage models.
• Inspect the property for policy violations, necessary repairs, and overall landscaping.
• Perform additional duties as directed.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year of related leasing or property management experience.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to motivate and lead a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely and organized manner.
• Flexible to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
• Able to tour the community with clients, which includes walking the property and climbing stairs.
• This role may require a valid driver's license.
• This role may require obtaining a state-specific license or certification.
