The Assistant Property Manager
Weinstein Properties, headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, owns and manages over 60 apartment communities across multiple states. The position is located at Addison at Swift Creek in Midlothian, VA.
Compensation
Compensation includes hourly rates starting at $21/hour, with increases based on experience, and quarterly bonuses. Schedule
The Assistant Property Manager works weekdays from 9-6, Saturdays from 9-5, and Sundays are closed (Saturdays are worked in a rotation with the team).
Responsibilities
- Work with prospects to answer internet leads, make phone calls, schedule appointments, and conduct tours of the community.
- Process leasing applications, prepare lease paperwork, collect security deposits, and assist with lease signings.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, address their needs, and handle renewal notices, notice to vacate, early terminations, pet additions, and account inquiries.
- Collaborate with maintenance staff to inspect apartments, follow up on work orders, and ensure property needs are met.
- Create a welcoming experience for new residents upon move-in and assist with move-outs, including processing security deposits and handling balance payments.
- Organize and host resident activities, ensuring engagement and satisfaction.
- Support the Property Manager by assisting with training, goal achievement, and other tasks as needed.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess strong communication skills, a customer-first mindset, positive energy, teamwork spirit, motivation, adaptability, and initiative. Leadership and management experience are preferred but not mandatory if solid management experience from customer service, sales, or hospitality backgrounds is present.
