Job Overview + Requirements

Job Type: Leasing and Activities Coordinator
Salary Range: $22 – $24 per hour plus Bonus Program
Work Hours: Full Time; Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm (evenings and weekends as needed based on community events)
Physical Requirements: Light lifting and carrying
Required Education: Bachelors degree or related experience in Sales/Marketing and Event Coordination
Required Experience: 1 -2 years of property management experience, specifically leasing and/or activities coordination.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Entrata and Canva preferred.
Certifications: Professional designations, i.e. Certified Professional Manager (CPM), Accredited Residential Manager (ARM), or equivalent industry designation preferred.

About the Role

To assist with preparing advertising and marketing materials, completing and distributing weekly and/or monthly sales reports, and making recommendations to improve marketing and leasing programs.

Responsibilities

  • Aids in the development and coordination of programs and activities for residents that align with the SUN® program within the budget provided.
  • Plans, organizes, leads / instructs, participates, and supervises residents in crafts, games, sports, and recreational and cultural activities.
  • Documents resident activity and personal work activity through notes or other written documentation.
  • Aids in the rent collection process and rent manager program.
  • Reviews the Property complaint log to identify areas in need of remediation or assistance.
  • Assists with all phases of rent collection process and rent manager program.
  • Aids in the preparation of the budget and reports on variances from budget.
  • Aids in the preparation of accounts payable for Property Manager's approval.
  • Aids in the preparation of month end reports for Property Manager's approval.
  • Assists in the preparation of all paperwork relating to move-ins and move-outs.
  • Communicates all problems and makes recommendations to the Property Manager.
  • Aids in the maintenance of physical assets by assisting with inspections and recommending repairs, replacements, and/or improvements.
  • Aids in the procurement of supplies, materials, equipment, and related items as needed.
  • Operates and maintains the Company vehicle (van/bus, etc.) in a safe and legal manner.
  • Transports residents to and from appointments and activities.

Requirements

  • A minimum of three (3) years driving experience is required if the position will be responsible for driving or considered to be a driving role.
  • Demonstrates integrity on a personal and professional level;
  • Exceptional communication, sales, and negotiation skills;
  • Ability to solve problems involving residents and challenging situations.
