About the role
The Assistant Property Manager supports the Property Manager in managing a property or group of properties. They assist with lease administration, vendor supervision, maintenance, budget development, and report preparation.
Responsibilities
- Aid in lease administration, including document preparation and execution.
- Supervise vendors and maintenance staff, perform regular inspections, and recommend necessary alterations and maintenance.
- Assist in developing and controlling operating and capital budgets, preparing monthly reports, and coordinating tenant improvements and capital projects.
- Respond to tenant needs, ensuring prompt resolution of issues and maintaining positive relations.
- Implement and monitor tenant needs assessments, manage lease compliance, and collect rent and charges.
- Manage financial transactions, maintain insurance certificates, and prepare monthly ownership reporting.
- Communicate with project accounting personnel and conduct tenant training meetings.
- Prepare and administer Service Agreements and Construction Agreements, track energy star benchmarking data, and show spaces to prospective tenants.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, or a Human Resource Management related discipline.
- RPA designation in progress preferred.
- Possess Real Estate License where required by state law.
- Minimum 3 years of property management experience, preferably in commercial /Class A Office management.
- Intermediate to advanced MS 365 Word, Excel, and Outlook proficiencies.
- Angus and accounting software such as MRI, Yard or CTI preferred proficiencies.
- Ability to keep information strictly confidential.
- Strong desire to succeed in an entrepreneurial environment.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.

$70,000 - $80,000 annually
