About the Role

The Assistant Property Manager supports the Lead Property Managers in delivering first-class service to members and their residences. This role is based at The Madison Club and requires excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to high-end property management.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Lead Property Managers in overseeing the overall operation of the property, ensuring well-managed and well-maintained residences.
  • Communicate effectively with Lead Property Managers, homeowners, and contractors.
  • Schedule and follow up with vendors to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Handle high-stress situations while maintaining composure and reassuring members.
  • Coordinate repairs by contacting vendors and following up on progress.
  • Multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment with multiple residences.
  • Conduct walk-throughs of homes and perform golf cart maintenance.
  • Greet members and assist with scheduling vendors.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs, move furniture, and accommodate member requests.
  • Prepare units for member and sales tours, including grocery runs, newspaper and coffee deliveries.
  • Complete opening and closing procedures and provide daily summaries to staff and the Residential Services Manager.
  • Communicate with members, vendors, and staff via email regarding spa treatments, fitness, personal training, transportation, hikes, dinner reservations, and grocery runs.
  • Assist other departments when approved by the Residential Services Manager.
  • Be onsite during shifts for house calls and member needs.

Schedule

  • Opener shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Wednesday–Saturday.
  • Closer shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM, Wednesday–Saturday, and 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Sundays.
  • Mandatory work during holidays, special events, Desert Trip, Coachella, and Stagecoach. No exceptions.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Must be over the age of 21 (due to alcohol purchasing requirements).
  • Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with potential for long hours due to business demands.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and stay calm during busy periods.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English; additional languages preferred.
  • Ability to meet physical demands, including working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing/walking for over eight hours, and lifting/carrying items over 50 lbs.

Pay

The estimated pay for this role is $25 per hour, based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
