About the role

The Assistant Property Manager – Leasing Focus serves as the operational leader for leasing, resident relations, and occupancy performance while also supporting the Property Manager in the day-to-day operations of the community.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all leasing activities and maintain high closing ratios.
  • Respond promptly to all phone, email, and online leasing inquiries.
  • Conduct apartment tours and effectively close new leases.
  • Manage the prospect pipeline and ensure all leads receive timely follow-up.
  • Oversee leasing goals, occupancy targets, and traffic conversion metrics.
  • Monitor market conditions and perform competitor surveys.
  • Develop and implement outreach marketing and resident referral programs.
  • Cook up and execute resident retention initiatives and renewal campaigns.
  • Afford and execute social media marketing and online reputation management.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of multifamily leasing experience required.
  • Previous Assistant Property Manager experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong sales and closing abilities with a proven leasing track record.
  • Experience with renewals, collections, and resident relations.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of Fair Housing laws and multifamily operations.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
