About the role
The Assistant Property Manager – Leasing Focus serves as the operational leader for leasing, resident relations, and occupancy performance while also supporting the Property Manager in the day-to-day operations of the community.
Responsibilities
- Lead all leasing activities and maintain high closing ratios.
- Respond promptly to all phone, email, and online leasing inquiries.
- Conduct apartment tours and effectively close new leases.
- Manage the prospect pipeline and ensure all leads receive timely follow-up.
- Oversee leasing goals, occupancy targets, and traffic conversion metrics.
- Monitor market conditions and perform competitor surveys.
- Develop and implement outreach marketing and resident referral programs.
- Cook up and execute resident retention initiatives and renewal campaigns.
- Afford and execute social media marketing and online reputation management.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of multifamily leasing experience required.
- Previous Assistant Property Manager experience preferred but not required.
- Strong sales and closing abilities with a proven leasing track record.
- Experience with renewals, collections, and resident relations.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of Fair Housing laws and multifamily operations.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
