Assistant Property Manager

Responsibilities

• Utilize and maintain all data in OneSite property management system.
• Efficiently process and file forms and documents as necessary, maintaining confidentiality of personnel and residents.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of lease terms, specifications, amenities, rates, sizes, and locations of property and all community policies.
• Present property and provide amenities in a positive light to prospective tenants.
• Advertise available units using a variety of media and promoting materials.
• Develop full knowledge of application information required, screening processes and policies regarding rentals.
• Certify properties according to HUD, Section 8, and/or LIHTC requirements.
• Audit all move-in files and assist with move-in certifications and qualifications as required by HUD.
• Prepare and execute all required notices, interviews, verifications of household information, and complete Tenant Income Certifications.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in leasing apartment communities.
• Knowledge of HUD, Section 8, and/or LIHTC.
• Accomplished interpersonal skills; capable of dealing effectively with employees, residents, vendors and co-workers; along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership and customer service skills.
