Assistant Property Manager

About the role

Richman Property Services, Inc. is seeking a full-time, bilingual Assistant Property Manager to lead the Parkway Place community in Melbourne, FL.

Key Qualifications

• Tax credit/Affordable (LIHTC) experience preferred
• Yardi experience
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Property Manager to achieve community goals and keep operations running smoothly
• Ensure compliance with company policies, LIHTC requirements, and applicable regulations
• Respond to resident inquiries and concerns promptly, courteously, and with a solutions-first mindset
• Manage work orders and maintenance requests using Yardi software
• Cook up lease renewals and rental increases
• Conduct unit inspections and oversee move-in and move-out processes
• Support leasing activities and build strong resident relationships
• Maintain accurate, audit-ready records and documentation

Requirements

• Education: Associate's degree or equivalent experience
• Experience: 2+ years in Assistant or Leasing positions within the apartment industry; experience with affordable communities and Yardi software preferred; experience with LIHTC communities and Yardi software is preferred

Skills & Certifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and property management software, with strong communication and organizational skills
• Knowledge of Fair Employment Housing and EEO laws
• Valid Driver's License required
