Responsibilities
- State Certification or holds a full License
- Technologically proficient
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Local area knowledge
- Computer proficiency—Microsoft Office
- Managing Referrals across Departments
- Familiarity with:
- Federal and Fair Housing
- Residential Tenancies Act - ORS Chapter 90
- Rent Control and Renter Relocation Requirements specific to Oregon and the City of Portland
- Anti-Discrimination Act
- Trade Practices and Fair Trading Acts
Requirements
- Is highly organized with excellent time management
- Displays exceptional people skills with a customer service focus
- Has excellent dispute resolution skills with a passion for positive outcomes
- Has a proactive approach to systems and procedures
- Has a prolific work ethic and close attention to detail
- Has an understanding of the importance of the team and the individual’s place in it
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of property management experience
- Experience with tenancy laws and regulations
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
