Summary of Responsibilities
- Arrange for new residents by advertising vacancies, obtaining referrals from current tenants, explaining advantages of location and services, and showing units
- Manage resident relations and proactively develop solutions for any potential issues
- Aid in achieving financial objectives by collecting rents, paying bills, forecasting requirements, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and monitoring regularly to help develop strategies for optimal financial performance
- Review rental applications and prepare/review all new resident paperwork
- Schedule and supervise apartment turnovers
- Affiliate with property marketing
- Conduct outreach to local businesses to promote the community and build positive relationships among current and prospective residents, vendors, and clients
- Ensure physical condition of properties regularly meets community standards and adheres to all Fair Housing laws
Requirements
- 1+ years of management experience in property management, retail or customer service industry
- Availability for after-hours emergency needs, may include weekends with work beyond 40 hours
- Prior Experience With YARDI preferred
- Ability to analyze and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals
- General math/reasoning/problem solving skills
