Assistant Property Manager

Responsibilities

• Represent the property and build positive relationships with residents and program staff.
• Serve as the first point of contact for residents, communicating in a friendly, helpful, and engaging manner.
• Enhance knowledge and skills to effectively work with diverse populations.
• Ensure the property operates smoothly and complies with all local rental code regulations.
• Foster positive relationships with fellow property staff and vendors as part of a "work family."

This position is located at Hillside Park Apartments.

Requirements

• Previous experience in property management is preferred.
• Experience with affordable housing paperwork is required.
• Must possess patience, flexibility, active listening skills, assertiveness, and compassion.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Proven problem-solving abilities are necessary.
• Flexible, organized, and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently.
• Basic computer skills are required, along with a willingness to learn new software programs.
• Experience with Yardi and RentCafe software is a plus.
