Assistant Property Manager

Responsibilities
- Represent the property and build positive relationships with residents and program staff.
- Serve as the first point of contact for residents, communicating in a friendly, helpful, and engaging manner.
- Enhance knowledge and skills to effectively work with diverse populations.
- Ensure the property operates smoothly and complies with all local rental code regulations.
- Foster positive relationships with fellow property staff and vendors as part of a "work family."
This position is located at Hillside Park Apartments.
Requirements
- Previous experience in property management is preferred.
- Experience with affordable housing paperwork is required.
- Must possess patience, flexibility, active listening skills, assertiveness, and compassion.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Proven problem-solving abilities are necessary.
- Flexible, organized, and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently.
- Basic computer skills are required, along with a willingness to learn new software programs.
- Experience with Yardi and RentCafe software is a plus.
