Assistant Property Manager
About the role
This role supports the Property Manager in maintaining compliance and managing the day-to-day operations of property management. Key responsibilities include ensuring timely rent payments, adhering to lease agreements, and communicating with residents about outstanding balances.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the highest level of customer service and online presence to obtain satisfactory scores on surveys/reviews from residents and prospects.
- Screen and qualify potential residents according to policies and application criteria.
- Review resident files and accounting records to identify unpaid or late fees, communicate with residents about these balances, and implement procedures for collecting delinquent balances.
- Tour the community, amenities, and vacant apartments with prospects, providing current information on rental rates and vacancy status.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1-2 years of onsite experience as a Leasing Consultant.
- Competence in personal computer skills, including keyboarding, internet search, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- A thorough understanding and application of Fair Housing laws.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.

Pay
The expected compensation range for this position is $22.00 – $24.00, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible.
