Assistant Property Manager

Fogelman is seeking an experienced, customer-focused, and highly organized Assistant Property Manager to join the team at The Baxly Apartments in the Savannah area.

Responsibilities

• Posting of monthly rent, application fees, deposits and collections received from residents into the company platform on a timely basis.
• Making collections from residents after move out due to damages, additional cleaning charges, etc.
• Contacting delinquent residents via letters and in person for payment with a goal of $0 due by accounting month end.
• Filing eviction paperwork with property's attorneys and attending court.
• Moving out vacating residents in computer system to assure accurate property occupancy.
• Preparing all month-end close out reports including Occupancy month end, Accounting month end, and processing Statement of Deposit Accounts (SODA).
• Standing in for the Property Manager if they are unavailable.
• Weekend work may be required.
• Adhere to all company policies including but not limited to safety and Fair Housing.

Requirements

• At least three years of Assistant Property Manager experience within the multifamily industry.
• Strong working knowledge of property management platforms preferred (i.e., Yardi, Entrata, Yieldstar, CRM).
• Property accounting experience, rent collection, eviction process, and delinquency, with strong attention to detail.
• Apartments leasing experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written), relationship-building, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
