About the role
Fogelman is seeking an experienced, customer-focused, and highly organized Assistant Property Manager to join the team at McKenzie Park Apartments in the Little Rock area. Responsibilities
- Posting of monthly rent, application fees, deposits and collections received from residents into the company platform on a timely basis.
- Maintain accurate records of all lease transactions, including renewals, evictions, and move-outs.
- Contact delinquent residents via letters and in person for payment with a goal of $0 due by accounting month end.
- Prepare all month-end close out reports including Occupancy month end, Accounting month end, and processing Statement of Deposit Accounts (SODA).
- Assist the Property Manager with assigned duties related to property operations and compliance with company policy and applicable laws.
- Perform all leasing duties including renewals.
- Handle move-in and move-out procedures, including filing eviction paperwork with property's attorneys and attending court.
- Manage resident services and provide excellent customer service.
- Stand in for the Property Manager if they are unavailable.
- Occasional weekend work may be required.
Qualifications and Skills
- At least 3 years of Assistant Property Manager experience within the multifamily industry.
- Strong working knowledge of property management platforms (Yardi, Entrata, Yieldstar, CRM).
- Experience with property accounting, rent collection, eviction process, and delinquency.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), relationship-building, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
- Apartment leasing experience strongly preferred.
- Valid driver's license and automobile insurance may be required depending on the property.
