About the Role

As an Assistant Property Manager, you’ll be responsible for leasing apartments, handling resident relations, and conducting various office duties. This role offers valuable experience and growth potential within the property management industry at Seasons at Mount Pleasant. With over 40 years of industry experience, we are continuously expanding our footprint with more than 35 communities across Wisconsin, Illinois, and North Carolina, providing numerous opportunities for career growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead lease renewal process and community retention initiatives through ongoing relationship management and organizing resident events.
  • Manage the lease process including leasing, application assistance, screening, lease preparation, and move-ins with accuracy to ensure resident satisfaction and meet target occupancy levels.
  • Oversee delinquencies and initiate the eviction process when necessary, maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations to maintain the financial balance of the property.
  • Serve as the primary resident contact for renewals and create renewal lease paperwork.
  • Play a key role in accounting and financial matters, such as collecting rent, posting payments, uploading invoices, and updating monthly financial statements.
  • Assist with social media and other marketing campaigns to enhance the property's visibility and reputation.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in property management is highly preferred.
  • Experience with property management software is preferred.
  • Adhere to fair housing laws, OSHA/Safety regulations, and company policies (training provided).
  • Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license with a good driving record, and auto insurance are required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate the benefits of living at one of our properties.

Schedule

Full-time hours, including weekends as needed (typically 1 Saturday a month).
