Community Management Group LLC · Colville, WA · Yesterday
On-siteSales$25/hrPart-time

About the role

This position is located in Colville, WA. There is no onsite office, so administrative work is completed remotely from home. Regular visits to the community are required. Community Management Group is committed to providing clean, well-managed, affordable communities and excellent service to our residents. Our Community Managers play an important role in the day-to-day operation of our properties and are often the main point of contact for residents. We are looking for someone who is dependable, customer-service oriented, comfortable using a computer, and willing to learn. Previous property management experience is helpful, but it is not required. We are more interested in finding someone with a good attitude who communicates well, stays organized, and is willing to jump in when something needs attention. This position offers an opportunity to learn property management and grow into additional responsibilities over time.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for residents and provide professional, responsive customer service
  • Regularly visit and inspect the community and identify items that need attention
  • Communicate community rules and follow up with residents as needed
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for maintenance, repairs, landscaping, and other property needs
  • Follow up with vendors to make sure work is completed
  • Assist with rent collection and resident account follow-up
  • Complete required reports and keep accurate records
  • Assist with notices and other resident communications with support from the Regional Manager
  • Help with leasing, move-ins, and move-outs as needed
  • Stay organized and meet deadlines
  • Help with other community needs and projects as they arise

Most maintenance, repairs, landscaping, and specialized work are outsourced to vendors. However, being handy, enjoying landscaping, or being comfortable taking care of occasional small projects around the community would be a plus.

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Friendly, professional, and comfortable working with residents
  • Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable using computers, email, Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Willing and able to learn new software and systems
  • Able to work independently and manage deadlines
  • Willing to jump in and help where needed
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to regularly visit the property

Preferred, but not required

  • Previous customer service, leasing, property management, or similar experience
  • Experience working with vendors or coordinating maintenance
  • Familiarity with Fair Housing requirements
  • Experience with rent collection or basic administrative/accounting tasks
  • Familiarity with Rent Manager, Dropbox, or GoPro
  • Basic marketing or leasing experience
  • Landscaping, maintenance, or general handyman skills
  • Interest in learning more about property management and growing with the company

Compensation

  • Hourly – $25/hr
  • Free lot rent – option
  • Monthly bonus potential
  • Flexible schedule
