We’re partnering with a growing, vertically integrated multifamily owner-operator to hire an Assistant Property Manager for a 350-plus-unit residential community in Kissimmee. This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced multifamily professional to support daily property operations, improve resident satisfaction, and help drive leasing and financial performance. The Assistant Property Manager will work closely with the Property Manager while supporting the onsite leasing and maintenance teams.
Responsibilities
- Support daily operations of a 350-plus-unit multifamily community.
- Oversee leasing activity, applications, renewals, and move-ins.
- Manage rent collections, delinquency follow-up, resident ledgers, and notices.
- Assist with occupancy reporting, weekly performance reviews, invoices, and property financials.
- Respond to resident questions, concerns, and lease-enforcement matters.
- Review lease files for accuracy and Fair Housing compliance.
- Coordinate with maintenance on work orders, inspections, unit turns, and apartment readiness.
- Train and support Leasing Consultants and onsite office staff.
- Assist with marketing initiatives, resident-retention programs, and community events.
- Support budgeting, vendor coordination, and other operational priorities.
Requirements
- Three-plus years of multifamily property management experience.
- Prior experience as an Assistant Property Manager, Assistant Community Manager, Leasing Manager, or similar onsite professional.
- Strong knowledge of collections, delinquency, renewals, and lease administration.
- Excellent resident-relations and conflict-resolution skills.
- Understanding of Fair Housing and landlord-tenant requirements.
- Ability to help lead and hold onsite team members accountable.
- Experience with Entrata or a comparable property management platform is preferred.
- Experience supporting a 300-plus-unit community is a plus.
- Spanish fluency is a plus.
- Availability to work a flexible onsite schedule, including weekends when needed.
- Valid driver’s license required.

Pay
$60,000–$70,000 Base Salary + Incentives
