Responsibilities
- Aid the Project Manager in maintaining project quality and efficiency.
- Manage tasks during the construction process, including submittals and RFI processes.
- Prepare proposals for new projects or project variations.
- Establish effective project governance, processes, and systems.
- Ensure key information and data are shared and retained appropriately.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members.
- Interface with multiple stakeholders, including executive management, project team members, consultants, and vendors.
- Coordinate project information among team members and stakeholders.
- Attend meetings, update issue/action logs, transcribe meeting minutes, and ensure action items are closed.
- Create detailed project plans, attend status meetings, and monitor project progress.
- Contribute to monthly reporting on various aspects of the client's program.
- Prepare various reports for different audiences, including project management reports, executive dashboards, and other reporting requirements.
- Handle daily tasks such as submittal approval management, RFI processing, change order management, meeting coordination, punch-list management, administration of project observation reports, participation in commissioning, and transition of close-out documentation to operations.
- Assist with procurement of suppliers/resources as needed.
- Maintain performance management techniques and report on project costs/spending using EVM systems.
- Liaise with the client's finance team and others to gather and review financial/cost data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Proactive, organized, thorough work ethic.
- Effective and collaborative teamwork skills.
- Experience with project management software systems.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and Google tools.
- Excellent communication skills.
