About the role
As an Assistant Project Manager - Construction - Manhattan, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting Project Managers with all phases of project delivery
- SUPPORTING budget tracking, forecasting, and cost management
- MANAGING RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
- COCOORDINATING with subcontractors, vendors, architects, and engineers
- ASSISTING with procurement and contract administration
- MANTAINING project schedules and progress reports
- PARTICIPATING in project meetings and PREPARING meeting minutes
- MONITORING construction progress and IDENTIFYING potential issues
- ASSISTING with quality control and safety initiatives
- PREPARING reports, logs, and project correspondence
- ASSISTING with project closeout and turnover activities
- BUILDING strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders
Responsibilities
Supporting Project Managers with all phases of project delivery

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- 2-5 years of construction experience, preferably in project coordination or assistant project management
- Strong understanding of construction processes and documentation
- Knowledge of RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project controls
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Desire to grow into a full Project Manager role
Qualifications
- Desired: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- Minimum: 2-5 years of construction experience, preferably in project coordination or assistant project management
- Preferred: Experience working on commercial, residential, mixed-use, healthcare, or institutional projects
- Desired: Strong understanding of construction processes and documentation
- Desired: Knowledge of RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project controls
- Desired: Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Desired: Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Office
- Desired: Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Desired: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

$80,000 - $120,000+
