We are actively searching for a dedicated Assistant Project Manager to play a vital role in our continued success, focusing on overseeing projects within Division 8 and Division 10.

About the role

As the Assistant Project Manager, you will support the Project Manager in all aspects of project execution, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills in project management while working closely with seasoned professionals in a team that values precision, efficiency, and exceptional outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and validating project estimates, quotes, and purchase orders.
• Help manage, update, and organize projects in bid tracking software.
• Efficiently edit and organize job documents.
• Work with the Project Manager to address changes in project scope, identify potential issues, and resolve scope conflicts.
• Build, develop, and grow business relationships vital to project success.
• Effectively resolve customer issues and complaints with a proactive approach.
• Handle incoming calls and provide relevant support.
• Greet walk-in customers and provide assistance as needed.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in the doors and hardware, building materials, or related construction industry.
• Proficiency in software tools like ComSense and Pro-Tech is preferred.
• Strong competency with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Teams, Outlook, and OneDrive.
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Knowledge of frames, door, and hardware products, materials, and industry standards.
• Locally based in the Raleigh-Durham, NC area.
