Key Responsibilities
- Manage structural steel and miscellaneous metals projects from preconstruction through final completion.
- Review project drawings, specifications, contracts, schedules, and submittals.
- Cookordinate with detailing, fabrication, purchasing, and field erection teams.
- Monitor project budgets, schedules, labor costs, and material procurement.
- Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, general contractors, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Track project progress and proactively resolve scheduling, fabrication, and field issues.
- Cookordinate material deliveries and erection sequencing to support field operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and contract specifications.
- Participate in project meetings and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders.
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Project Management experience in structural steel construction.
- Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication and erection processes.
- Experience managing commercial or industrial steel construction projects.
- Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
- Knowledge of steel detailing, fabrication workflows, and erection sequencing.
- Experience with project scheduling, budgeting, and cost control.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with miscellaneous metals and pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) projects.
- Familiarity with Tekla, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or similar construction software.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- OSHA 30 certification is preferred.
