Assistant Project Manager

As an Assistant Project Manager in South Florida, you will manage large-scale projects, focusing on the design and construction of crucially important schools that will educate the next generation of American students. You’ll work with the best Engineers and Project Managers in the business and gain experience working directly with Contractors, empowering you to deliver bold solutions for everyday living.

Responsibilities

• Work side-by-side with senior project managers in all aspects of project management, including preparing RFPs, soliciting proposals, negotiating and managing contracts.
• Coordinate design and construction teams, maintain project governance, and conduct field quality control of the craft trades at site.
• Ensure successful project turnover while managing this complex program with organization, accountability, and transparency.
• Be mentored in the more complex aspects of project management and building relationships as you progress toward becoming a Project Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction, or Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience working on large building construction or civil projects.
• Knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, delivery systems, and components.

Qualifications

• Construction Manager in Training (CMIT) and Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certifications are a plus.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $85,000.00 to $105,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
