About the role

At Jacobs, our PMCM team works seamlessly with clients by delivering projects and programs to achieve our clients’ goals. Whether it’s managing construction or designing buildings, solutions are continuously being implemented. This role involves managing a large-scale program to design and construct crucially important schools in South Florida, educating the next generation of American students.

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will work side-by-side with senior project managers in all aspects of project management, including preparing RFPs, soliciting proposals, negotiating and managing contracts, coordinating design and construction teams, maintaining project governance, conducting field quality control of the craft trades at site, and ensuring successful project turnover.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field. Relevant experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis where permitted by client requirements.
  • 2+ years of project management experience.
  • Equivalent combinations of education, military service, technical training, certifications, and directly related experience may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP or CCM certification.
  • Experience as an owner’s representative, or in design and construction.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $85,000.00 to $110,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
