About the role

This Assistant Project Manager role supports large-scale data center and industrial electrical construction projects in Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania. You will work closely with Project Managers and field leadership to coordinate project execution, maintain project controls, support procurement, track financial performance, and ensure that all project documentation remains accurate and up to date. This position offers hands-on exposure to complex electrical systems, direct mentorship from experienced leaders, and a clear pathway into Project Management within a growing, safety-focused contractor.

Responsibilities

  • Support project planning, execution, and closeout activities for large-scale data center and industrial electrical construction projects.
  • Track project budgets, forecasts, change orders, and procurement status to support effective cost control and financial performance.
  • Coordinate daily with field supervisors, engineering teams, vendors, subcontractors, and customers to ensure aligned project execution.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and other project documentation to maintain accurate and timely records.
  • Review contract documents, drawings, and specifications to support compliance and accurate project delivery.
  • Monitor material procurement and equipment deliveries to ensure timely availability of resources for field operations.
  • Participate in project meetings and coordination sessions, providing updates on schedule, cost, and documentation status.
  • Assist with schedule updates and manpower planning to keep projects on track and properly resourced.
  • Support quality assurance initiatives and jobsite safety programs in collaboration with project and field leadership.
  • Maintain project reports, project controls, and compliance documentation in alignment with company standards and client requirements.
  • Utilize construction management tools and digital platforms to support project coordination, scheduling, and documentation.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 2–5 years of construction industry experience, including experience supporting construction projects.
  • Experience with project management and construction project coordination.
  • Understanding of construction management principles, including cost control, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment with competing priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with field teams, vendors, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Proficiency in managing RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
  • Familiarity with contract administration and construction project controls.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
  • Ability to collaborate in a team-oriented, safety-focused, and growth-minded environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Electrical construction background, particularly in large-scale or complex projects.
  • Experience with data center, semiconductor, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, mission-critical, or industrial projects.
  • Experience with digital construction management platforms and tools for scheduling, documentation, and coordination.
  • Exposure to electrical construction systems and advanced construction technologies.
  • Experience with budgeting, cost tracking, and cost control in a construction setting.
  • Experience working on high-profile or mission-critical projects.
  • Interest in developing into a Project Manager role with support from direct mentorship and structured career advancement.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in construction operations.

Work Environment

This is a full-time role based in Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania, with a typical workload of approximately 50–60 hours per week. You will work primarily onsite at project locations and construction offices in a fast-paced construction setting. The position involves frequent interaction with field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and management, and requires a combination of office-based project administration and active project-site support. Pay

The pay range for this position is $30.00 – $45.00/hr. Individual compensation offered within this range will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
