Responsibilities
- Serve as intake coordinator with members to provide accurate information on programs and policies, referring members as appropriate;
- Collect and conduct quality assurance on documentation required;
- Problem solve member issues;
- Schedule members for classes, liaise with instructors, and organize all logistical aspects of various Adult Education programs;
- Learn the functionalities of the Learner Management System to assist with tracking registration, generating lists of applicants and following up with students;
- Assist with program orientations, and the processing of assessment documentation and test results;
- Complete and submit required paperwork to the Department of Program Administration on a timely basis, ensuring that protocols for attendance and other instructional activities are followed;
- Maintain and monitor program outcomes, attendance, and other data using the internal tracking database;
- Provide quality customer service to members, as well as accurate and timely information about various program, the department and the Fund;
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED;
- College Degree preferred;
- Minimum three (3) years administrative experience required, preferably in a general office or adult learning environment;
- Bilingual Spanish required;
- Basic Excel skills required, Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Word and Excel preferred;
- Knowledge of databases, social media and online learning platforms preferred;
- Excellent organizational skills, keen attention to details, and ability to work well under deadline pressure;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work both independently and as a team player;
- Ability to travel to various sites in the New York Metropolitan Area required.
