Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Neonatology & Newborn Services in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the tenure track.

Requirements

  • M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics or Internal Medicine

Responsibilities

  • Teaching medical students, residents, and fellows
  • Formal lecture opportunities within the department
  • Clinical consultations for high-risk neonatology and maternal and fetal conditions
  • Prenatal genetic diagnosis
  • Coordinating NIH-funded grant efforts with local, national, and international collaborators
  • Participation in writing grants, reports, and manuscripts
  • Publication record in neonatology, developmental or molecular medicine
  • Intellectual independence and co-supervision of postdoctoral fellows, students, and research staff
