About the role

The Department of Neurology at Emory University School of Medicine seeks outstanding candidates for faculty positions. This is an evergreen posting to build a pool of qualified applicants for current and future Assistant Professor opportunities across the department.

Responsibilities

• Clinical care in general neurology and/or subspecialty practice
• Teaching and mentoring of medical students, residents, fellows, and trainees
• Scholarly activity, including clinical or basic science research
• Participation in departmental, institutional, and professional service activities

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or equivalent terminal degree
• Board certified or board eligible in Neurology
• Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Georgia
• Demonstrated commitment to excellence in patient care, education, and/or research
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
• Completed an accredited fellowship, as applicable

Requirements

Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location. Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion.
