Assistant Professor - Pathology, Anatomy and Laboratory Medicine
About the role
The successful candidate will teach within the Medical Laboratory Science Program, offering both BS and MS degrees. Responsibilities include teaching clinical chemistry to undergraduate and graduate students, with the opportunity to contribute to other clinical areas.
Responsibilities
- Teach clinical chemistry to undergraduate and graduate Medical Laboratory Science students
- Contribute to secondary teaching assignments
- Provide student advising and recruitment support
- Participate in the service and research missions of the School of Medicine
Requirements
- Doctorate in MLS or related discipline preferred
- National certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (Clinical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist)
- At least one year of clinical experience
- Teaching experience preferred

- Strong commitment to teaching and mentoring
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
