Applications are invited for a faculty position in the Operations Management Department at the Kellogg School of Management. The search is for an Assistant Professor role.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field must be in hand or expected by the employment start date.
  • Thorough knowledge of operations management theory and practice.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct innovative research in operations management.
  • Participate in the school’s Ph.D. program.
  • Teach required and elective MBA courses.

Pay

The expected base pay range for this position is $200,000 - $220,000 for a nine-month academic appointment. This range does not include summer salary and is subject to negotiation. Research discretionary funding will also be provided. Summer salary, including from sponsored projects, may also be available.

The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) experience, qualifications, years since terminal degree, training, field or discipline, departmental budget availability, internal comparators, and external market pay for comparable jobs.
