About the Role
The Department of Psychology and Education at Mount Holyoke College invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in the area of clinical developmental psychology beginning July 1, 2027.
Responsibilities
- Teach 200-level courses in clinical and developmental psychology
- Teach advanced 300-level laboratory and seminar courses in the candidate's area of specialization
- Contribute to one of three core courses: Introduction to Psychology, Statistics, or Research Methods
- Maintain an active research program that can engage undergraduates as research assistants
- Mentor students who are broadly diverse with regard to race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, gender, nationality, sexual orientation, disability, and religion
Qualifications
- PhD or ABD required
- Graduate-level training in clinical practice is preferred
- Demonstrated record of strong teaching at the undergraduate level

Pay
Minimum starting rate of pay: $90,000.
Schedule
The teaching load is 4 courses per year.
