About the Role
The Assistant Professor of Nursing is responsible for providing high-quality education to nursing students at Baptist Health College Little Rock (BHCLR). This role involves developing and delivering content, engaging in clinical instruction, and contributing to the academic community through scholarly activities, student mentorship, and program improvement. Limited remote work may be acceptable for this position.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver nursing education content
- Provide clinical instruction to students
- Engage in scholarly activities
- Mentor and advise students
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the nursing program
Requirements
- BSN required; MSN or doctoral degree preferred
- MSN or doctoral degree is required to teach in a high school pathway program
- Minimum of two years of direct patient care nursing experience required; teaching experience preferred
- Unencumbered Arkansas or compact state nursing license
- Current BLS certification
This position is authorized for 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
